Luqiao is the location of Taizhou Luqiao Airport and also is the headquarters of Taizhou Commercial Bank and Zhejiang Tailong Commercial Bank, making it the financial capital of Taizhou. Geely Car group originated from Luqiao and has a large manufacturing base here.
