We all enjoyed the museum! My husband and I hadn’t been since we were kids. Our son (6) first time. Just enough “kid friendly” activities tucked in with the exhibits to keep him entertained. Neat to … Full review by 111kylieb

I’m a self proclaimed aircraft nerd and have been wanting to hit this place up for years. I came for their B36 display, which is one of only four surviving examples of the aircraft. But the rest of t… Full review by notb4mybeer

This is an amazing museum! There are lots of aircraft to explore, lots of information, and a few interactive displays. I spent about 2 hours here, but probably could have spent a whole afternoon. … Full review by ASGLondon

You can call the curator and ask. I've been in it twice. Once for a K-State research project. Then a year later I was able to coordinate and get my dad up inside it. After the first time, my dad sent pictures of my grandfather and the B-36 he crewed. The tail numbers match, the B-36 bomber was the same aircraft. The last time my dad saw this plane was in 1958. Small world! If I hit the lottery, I'll sent money up to help with the restoration. So, ask ahead of time. You might get lucky. Good luck. Let me know if you are successful. Canter40@yahoo.

Hello! The Museum has a small cafe called "Plane Foods" where you can get pizza (Valentino's), pretzels, sandwiches, cookies, and drinks. Ashland (which is about 3 minutes from the Museum) has a cafe called Cheri Os and a BBQ place called Parkers (highly recommended). As for the tours: the public tours are daily (call before if you would like one, these are volunteers and things come up) at 11 am. Depending on which volunteer, they will last up to 2 hours. If you would like a private tour, there is a fee for the tour guide. You might enjoy just going through the Museum yourself and reading all of the signage and explanations of each exhibit and aircraft.
Q:
Ho do I get their from Omaha using public transportation?
A:
Probably the only way is a taxi but may be cheaper to rent a car. It is just off I -80 so very easy to get to. But is several miles from Onaha depending where you are in the city.
