In 1959, A.H. McCarty opened his own typewriter repair business known as McCarty Office Machines, Inc. Under the leadership of his son, Jim McCarty, McCarty’s grew in size and product offerings to include office supplies, furniture, janitorial supplies, printing, and many other office-related services. Business equipment offerings have expanded to include Canon copiers and networked multifunction machines and services for those machines. Focusing on the expansion of its Southeast Kansas trade area, McCarty’s acquired a Coffeyville, Kansas based office supply store in 2001. This strategic location allowed McCarty to expand its trade area to include Northeast Oklahoma. In 2015, McCarty’s acquired a third location, Iola Office Supply in Iola, Kansas. In January 2017, James McCarty became the current owner and president of the company. Under his leadership, we have grown our IT services which include: managed IT, backup solutions including cloud backup and cloud services, Microsoft 365, remote managed services.
