A stunning palace with lots to keep you interested. Buy your tickets from the official website in advance to avoid the lengthy ques from those who don't and it really does save a long queue. Full review by Richard M

Not sure you can get free tickets ,you can pre purchase tickets possibly at reduced rates but I'm pretty sure there's not free tickets, hope this helps from Neil K.

My wife and I are confused. Will ONLY be in Madrid Friday April 28 through Sunday April 30, 2023. Website shows no tickets available plus none available via a tour service. However, a person we spoke with who lives in Madrid, and close to the Palace, said in reality we could show up in the morning about when it opens. May be a line but can physically buy a ticket there. Is that true?

There is a physical ticket office onsite. I'm not sure if they hold separate day of tickets though.
