We went on a Saturday, and the chambers or galleries weren't open. As statehouses go, this one is pretty run-of-the-mill. They have done a great job with the historical part on the ground level. Full review by Elizabeth E

At the Ohio Statehouse, the program for Boy Scouts is June 21, 2019. The program for Girl Scouts has been in February.

I wasn't sure so I checked the website: Free Guided Tours Daily Guided tours are offered Monday through Friday every hour on the hour with the first tour beginning at 10 a.m. and the last tour beginning at 3 p.m. Guided tours are offered on Saturdays and Sundays at 12, 1, 2 , and 3 p.m. Please note that while the Ohio Statehouse is open to the public on the weekends, the House and Senate Chambers are kept locked, and are only available to be viewed during guided tours

We went on a Sunday - it was very nice. Free guided tours of the Capitol Square complex are offered Monday through Friday on the hour from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from noon until 3pm.
