Well worth a visit, what a treasure! We are so fortunate that all this has been saved over the decades. Lots to take in and a chance to go back in time with authentic everything. Full review by Denise P

Hi, I'm not sure about that. I would advise joining Visit Scotland as a Member. You can then visit lots of venues throughout the year. It is well worth the membership fee. Other places …

The house is open from 1st March to 31st October between 1pm and 5pm, with the last admission being at 4.30pm. Last summer, however, during July and August, they were open from 11am on Friday and Saturday. I'm not sure if they will be doing the same this year, though.
