WEBJun 17, 2020 · Here, we report on the electrodeposition of metals in dilute (e.g., 0.05 M) and moderately concentrated (e.g., 2.5 M) electrolytes and find that transport plays fundamentally different roles. Specifically, we find that metals do not form classical dendritic electrodeposits under electrolyte conditions typically used in electrochemical cells.
