What a surprise in down town Tokyo. Outstanding feeling of relax and spiritual calm. I was there during the cherry blossom period. So beautiful!! Full review by Atairiastos

Hey, i could have stayed longer 2.5 hours just enough time to walk around all areas and soak in some tranquility . Would have been nice to visit a teahouse as well and just sit or lie on the grass like the locals do. They picnic here on large numbers. If you visit just one garden make it this one is my advice so depends on your time available in Tokyo i had 5 days so could go at a less rushed pace If you love to relax and soak up nature and culture and you like beautiful gardens give this place the time it deserves
You did probably not visit the greenhouse. Also the garden is full of history and knowledge of all the species you see. The entrance fee is necessary for funding the garden. I can assure you that the garden is worth visiting in all seasons due to the changes trough the year.

Spot on Roy. One could spend hours here and learn so much and enjoy the calmness and serenity as well.
