I took my 7 year old daughter thinking be a great place to enjoy nature and see various animals ,was a total bad out come .very few animals no birds ,I remember years back it was fun to go had lots… Full review by Quest767820

It's average zoo, tickets are little higher side compare to their offerings. Animals are ok, birds were good, it's fine for 10 < age group. Full review by Sandip P

Only indoor seating I can think of is in the concession area. And in the winter it has limited hours as well as it being a small space.

Hi There is no camping at the Forestry Farm. The other answers are accurate. Your best bet is to stay at Gordie Howe Campground just off Ave P or stop at the campground before you get to the city just off Highway 16. Gordie Howe is nicer.... and has a golf course and walking trails within walking distance.

Hello, yes the Forestry Farm is open all year around but has reduced hours. It's also free to both park an enter the zoo during the winter. If you can work out feedings times, the animals are quite active! Just remember to bundle up for the walk; the little train does not run during the winter.
