The coffee shop was wonderful - but entry to the house required uploading passport and other details. Made a special trip to see it - ended up not. Very disappointed. Full review by keithaldw

It certainly was well worth a visit despite struggling to pay to enter because of a stupid system of paying via a QR code reader - which malfunctioned . Not user friendly AT ALL ! The guide was great… Full review by bevmissing

I think it is relative to the guide you got. when you say "their", you refer to all but I guess it was only one guide who took you round. It could depend on number of months or …

It could depend on number of months or experiences the intern may have had with them before your visit. Mine was quite knowledgeable about the place and Kenyan culture

Hmmm that’s a long drive if you are not living on the area, to go there just to buy a souvenir is not ideal there are lots of souvenir shops around and they all carry the same stuffs, although I must admit I only gave in to a painting that I saw in Karen Blixen. To answer your question I am not sure as No one drives there just to shop but I suppose you can ask the ticket booth that you only want to visit the shop?.

No one was painting on the porch the day we visited. Have you contacted the museum and asked for the information you want? I’m sure they would know who is painting there.
