Karrakatta Cemetery is the largest public cemetery in Western Australia (WA), catering to many types of burial areas and beautifully landscaped memorial gardens. The gardens are as diverse as manicured rose gardens to lush glades with exotic plant species. Karrakatta is one of six cemeteries managed by the Metropolitan Cemeteries Board (MCB), a statutory authority of the Government of WA. We provide sensitive and dignified facilities and services to meet the needs of the deceased and bereaved, including cremation, burial, entombment, memorialisation and chapel services, as well as planning for future cemetery needs of the metropolitan population.
