Doctor Robert A. Martin is an orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine physician, with unique expertise in arthroscopic surgery, rotator cuff surgery, and knee replacement.His past work has included a number of positions with several sports teams including staff physician at the Virginia Winter Special Olympics, staff physician at Tuckahoe Sports Injury Clinic, and assistant team physician for the Pittsburgh Steelers Football Club.Dr. Martin is past-chairman of the orthopedic clinic/sports medicine clinic at Mount Carmel East Hospital, where he also served on the medical executive committee and surgical administrative committee.He and his wife enjoy traveling and watching their three children play sports.
