There are no hotels close to the Shrine. It looks like the nearest one is a Howard Johnson 3 miles away. You could try AirBnB, or simply find a good hotel in DC and take the Metro, taxi, or Uber there. The Washington Retreat House is across the street from the Shrine, but I’m not sure if that’s what you’re looking for, and I don’t know if they offer rooms.

Sorry i can not answer your question. Parking is free at the Basilica. I know there is a metro station nearby, but have never used it, and do not know where that line goes. I have always had great luck with metered parking on Constitution Avenue near the White House. Good luck.
