Beachside is a town in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador, in Notre Dame Bay. The town had a population of 97 in the Canada 2021 Census, down from 150 in 2011. Consisting in the past primarily of fishermen and miners, today it mainly consists of small families and most of the men go away for work. It is very scenic and provides a variety for any geographer. The community of Beachside, once known as Brookside and Wild Bight, was settled in the 19th century, when the mine opened in Little Bay.
