One of my favorite hikes. It’s a 10 mile roundtrip out-and-back hike and I would budget at least half a day for the hike. Parking can be difficult, especially around the holidays, so I would recommen… Full review by shanellesua

Hi I’m excited to try this hike. :) I’m a first timer and we have plans to go up there this weekend, my only concerns are the recent rainy weather and how it will effect the river crossings, how high the water may be and how wet I’ll get (up to my knees?), especially with the chiller morning air (6am, 7am ish). Any tips, suggestions for a December trip? Thanks!!

While I have not hiked in the winter months, you can go to the Modern Hiker website and search Bridge to Nowhere. Excerpt from it below. Need a free Wilderness Permit. During winter months expect water levels to be higher and crossings more difficult. If slight chance of a storm, postpone trip. Canyon has a long record of deadly and destructive flash floods... Theabove weblink should help you make your decision.
