Convention center worked extremely well for our mid-size group. Easy access to many shops and restaurants (including the North Market) and easy to navigate within. Full review by Barbara B

There is not a place to park for free. If you are staying at the Hyatt, which is attached to the Convention center, you do have in and out privileges. Otherwise, if you park at the Convention center garage they usually offer a special price for events, $10 but that does not allow in and out privileges. There are parking lots adjacent to the Convention center that are cheaper, but a little bit of a walk. I hope this answers your question. If you need me to clarify further, please don't hesitate to ask.
Q:
Where is the Union Station Ballroom ?
A:
Columbus people suck.
Q:
What hotels are within walking distance?
A:
I did not stay downtown, but I believe there are multiple nearby. The Hilton I think is the one connected. Red Roof inn might be next door. Best bet is to use Google maps/street view.
