Several trails lead through the woods and to the waterfront in this park. Imagine it can be quite busy in the summer. Saw a few birds, but it was early in the season. Full review by dbinhou7511

Hi everyone, I saw that Quiet Waters Park has a Dog Beach where dogs are allowed to swim--is this easy to find once you're at the park? And are people allowed to go swimming with their dogs? If not and there is a separate people swimming beach, are dogs (on leashes) allowed to swim there? We live almost an hour and a half away and we think our puppy would really enjoy a day out at the beach but we also need a way to cool off. Thanks in advance!

Quiet Waters Park is a Beautiful 350 Acre Park and the 2nd Most Visited Site in Annapolis next to the US Naval Academy. Yes we have a very active Dog Park and Dog Beach on the South River. There is not a Beach for humans only for our doggie buddies. You may take your canine friend out on the water in a kayak or row boat at our rental location and “ fall in the water” to cool off in Harness Creek if you choose. Paddle or Peddle ( our vendor) is open on Friday’s thru Sunday thru the Summer. We are open 7 days a week and the weekends are very busy in nice weather with over 1000 vehicles coming into the Park. Entry fee is $6.00 per Vehicle for the all day rate to the Park. Hope that answers your questions! The number for the Park is 410-222-1777 for your additional questions.
