This was our 3rd favorite park (Bryce and Capitol Reef were 1st and 2nd). The structures are fantastic and only require short hikes to view them. We visited in March so we did not have to do the time… Full review by bonw796

We are an older couple so we didn’t hike as such. We did short walks off the road and didn’t have any problems with heights or altitude ( my husband doesn’t like heights and I sometimes suffer from altitude sickness) We spent the entire day at Arches. It was wonderful and worth the trip.
I'm a bit confused with the timed entry & the vehicle pass. If I go to Arches, do I need to purchase both? I just got a vehicle pass for it but not sure if I should also get the timed entry pass. Also, do I need to get another entry pass if I go to the Canyonlands or I can use the one I got for Arches?

You do not need time entry if you enter the park before 7am or 4pm after. The first day we entered the park after 4pm to visitor center and a short hike. The 2nd day, we got a time entry and spent the whole day there. It is a lovey park. You will enjoy it.
