Harvard University is the latest U.S. college to have pro-Palestinian encampments go up on its grounds following multiple other institutions that have seen students arrested this week over demonstrations protesting Israel’s war against Hamas in Gaza.
Hundreds of students converged Wednesday in the yard, which had earlier been closed off to the public. As more students filtered into Harvard yard, protesters put up about a dozen tents in front of the statute of John Harvard.
