Anheuser-Busch InBev reported a rise in first-quarter underlying profits as organic revenue grew 2.6%, but net profit fell sharply, missing forecasts.

Anheuser-Busch Inbev on Wednesday reported a 2.6% rise in sales in the first quarter, in line with analyst expectations, hurt again by a year-long Bud Light boycott whose impact is now set to ease. Volumes at the world's largest beer maker were slightly better than anticipated,

AB InBev, the world's biggst brewer, grew revenue and profit in the first quarter in what may be the final earnings report with a significant year-on-year drag from Bud Light sales in North America. Sales were impacted throughout 2023 by a social media-led boycott of the beer.
