Hyundai is gearing up for the launch of the highly anticipated Hyundai Creta Electric. According to some media reports, the Production of the Hyundai Creta Electric is expected to commence in December 2024 at Hyundai's manufacturing plant in Chennai.

The most significant of them was the production of Hyundai ’s first localised electric vehicle ( EV) in India. Outlining the EV strategy for the Indian market, Hyundai confirmed that the first localised EV will go into production by the end of 2024.
