Edinburgh police are investigating after a 48-year man was found stabbed to death early Monday. Officers with the Edinburgh Police Department responded to a report of the stabbing in the 6400 block of East State Road 252 shortly before 12:30 a.m.

Officers responded to lower Chandler Street around 3:35 p.m. for a report of an assault, Worcester police said in a press release. At the scene, they found a man on the sidewalk who had been stabbed.

Police officers responded to the report of a stabbing at about 12:22 a.m. in the 6400 block of E. State Road 252. Upon arrival, officers located a 48-year-old white male who was stabbed. Officers and Edinburgh medics attempted life-saving efforts at the scene but the man was pronounced deceased, according to Edinburgh Police Chief Doyne Little.

Bethlehem police are investigating a stabbing Saturday night that led to one man being hospitalized. Police were dispatched at 10:45 p.m. after shots were reported fired in the 200 block of East North Street.
