Team USA won silver in the para badminton mixed doubles event in the SH6 classification for athletes of short stature.

Miles Krajewski and Jayci Simon came to Paris as the U.S.'s first para badminton players and left as the country's first Paralympic medalists in the sport.

Miles Krajewski lives in Yankton, South Dakota, but his family drives him hours to Omaha to practice. He secured silver, which is the first ever Olympic or Paralympic badminton medal for any country west of Great Britain. Krajewski said the support through his journey was awesome.
