Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R-AR) said Thursday that Arkansas will not comply with new federal regulations that would ban discrimination of LGBT students under federal law. The move comes as other Republican-lead states made similar defiant moves against the Biden administration.

Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders declared Thursday that the state won't comply with a federal regulation that seeks to protect the rights of transgender students in the nation’s schools, joining other Republican-led states that are defying the new rules.

Judging from Sanders and Gaines speeches, you'd think the new Title IX rules require universities to let transgender girls to play in womens' sports leagues. They do no such thing.

Arkansas has not yet sued the Biden administration over the new rules but six other Republican-led states challenged them this week.
