The Angling Trust, British Rowing, British Triathlon, GB Outrigger, Paddle UK, Royal Yachting Association and Swim England have joined together

Water-based sports across the UK are uniting to call on the government to take urgent action to address pollution in rivers, lakes and coastal waters.

Sporting groups representing almost half a million people have united to call for more action on pollution in rivers and seas. The Clean Water Sports Alliance said it wanted to see regulators “hold polluters to account” and have better access to real-time data on water quality and a new class of designated waters for recreation.
