Serbia’s parliament approved a new cabinet that includes two ministers under US sanctions, underscoring President Aleksandar Vucic’s increasingly fraught balancing act between seeking to join the European Union and maintaining ties with Russia.

As Serbian lawmakers voted a new government into office, two-pro Russia officials who are sanctioned by the U.S. were reinstated; the government got backing in a 152-61 vote in the parliament.
