H5N1 has been detected in over 9,000 wild birds, 90 million poultry and in dairy cattle. A recent human case in Texas has some asking if this could be the next pandemic.

The bird flu has arrived in Colorado, and while it doesn’t represent anywhere near the threat that COVID-19 did at the beginning of the pandemic, people should take some precautions with animals that could carry it,
