A 36-year-old London-based man made an initial appearance in court on Thursday after being suspected of killing a 14-year-old boy with a sword earlier this week while injuring several others.

A man was caught with a huge gladiator-style sword the day after a 14-year-old boy was ‘murdered with a samurai blade’. Keneil Forrest, 22, was stopped at Limehouse Station in Tower Hamlets, east London, shortly before 9.30pm on Wednesday when officers found the 17-inch sword inside his tracksuit bottoms.
