Pilot makes emergency landing on US beach
A small plane's engine lost power mid-flight and the pilot performed an emergency landing on a beach in Long Island, New York, according to the Suffolk County Police Department. US media reports that both the 60-year-old pilot and the 59-year-old passenger were uninjured.
