S ony is introducing a new PlayStation PC overlay and shared Trophies with its upcoming release of Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut on May 16th. It’s the first PlayStation game for PC that uses Sony’s new PlayStation overlay, which, much like the Steam overlay, will provide access to a friend list, Trophies, Settings, and your PlayStation account.

It's been confirmed that Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut is to be the first PC port to receive PlayStation trophy support. This version of the game, coming to PC on May 16, is the full package. That means it'll include the excellent Iki Island expansion and the cooperative multiplayer Legends mode.

Ghost of Tsushima—the 2020 samurai RPG developed by Sucker Punch—isn’t the first PlayStation exclusive to come to PC, but it will mark the first time non-console gamers will get something akin to the true PlayStation experience.

Sony has announced that it’s bringing PlayStation trophies to PC alongside the release of Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut. This will be the first time any of its PC ports have supported the PlayStation trophy system.

Ghost of Tsushima is the first PlayStation-made game to utilize PS features like Trophies and Friends lists on PC. By now we're all pretty used to Trophies, Friends lists, and PSN Profiles, what with PlayStation's online feature having been around for a good 18 years or so at this point.
