Take-Two Interactive's 2K Games, the maker of the popular 'NBA 2K' basketball video-game series, convinced an Ohio federal jury on Friday to reject allegations that its use of LeBron James' tattoos in its games violated the rights of the Cleveland-based artist who inked them.

A jury in Cleveland on Friday sided with the makers of NBA2K video game series in a lawsuit brought by Cleveland Heights tattoo artist Jimmy Hayden over the use of two tattoos Hayden inked on LeBron James.

A jury voted unanimously on Friday in favor of Take-Two Interactive Software and rejected tattoo artist Jimmy Hayden’s claims that the video game maker violated copyrights when recreating Los Angeles Lakers supersatar LeBron James in its NBA 2K series.
