Indian investigators of the deadly Air India airliner crash that killed 260 last month told a meeting of lawmakers that the plane's black boxes were not damaged, two people familiar with the discussions said.

All but one of the 242 people on board the London-bound flight died when it crashed into a residential area in Ahmedabad shortly after take-off.
