Arizonans are preparing to vote on a state constitutional amendment to allow abortion up to the point of fetal viability.

This November, Arizonans will have the opportunity to vote on whether to enact a state constitutional amendment that would create a fundamental right to abortion. Activists in favor of the amendment claim that “voters clamored to sign” a petition to put the amendment on the ballot.

Asked why supporters would not participate, an Arizona for Abortion Access spokesperson cited other campaign work and support for the amendment.
