Fast casual chain BurgerFi has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy Wednesday after months of reporting financial distress.

Mediterranean restaurant chain Roti on Friday filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

The BurgerFi restaurant chain and its subsidiary join a number of other companies who this year have filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

BurgerFi International, Inc. (NASDAQ: BFI, BFIIW) which owns BurgerFi and casual dining chain Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza & Wings has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection as it tries to dig itself out of a financial hole.
