Line Fire initially started 6:33 p.m. Sep. 5 in San Bernardino County. It has burned 43,978 acres after being active for more than a month. A crew of 1,324 firefighters has been working on site and they managed to contain 93% of the fire as of Wednesday morning. The fire is suspected to have been started deliberately.

By Thursday afternoon, the fire crew managed to contain 95% of the fire. However, investigations into the cause are ongoing. The percentage indicates how much of the fire perimeter has been surrounded by a control line.
