The fast-growing Line Fire exploded to 20,553 acres Sunday in San Bernardino County, with expanded mandatory evacuation orders driving thousands of people from their homes amid an unrelenting heat wave that has brought days of triple-digit temperatures to Southern California.

Cal Fire said that 35,405 structures, including single and multi-family homes and commercial buildings, have been threatened by the wildfire.
