DirecTV subscribers are currently facing a blackout of Disney Channel and other Disney-owned services due to an ongoing contract disagreement between Disney and DirecTV. However, families can still access their favorite Disney content with some advance planning.

With a new football season, Disney and DirecTV are involved in a contentious carriage fee negotiation with Disney pulling its content — including ABC and ESPN.

Disney channels were pulled from satellite cable provider DirecTV late Sunday afternoon, impacting 11 million customers.
