A 3.2 magnitude earthquake rocked the Malibu coastline on Saturday, marking the second week in a row that the area has been hit by a quake and the fourth time since the start of September, according to the United States Geological Survey.

A 3.5-magnitude earthquake shook the Southern California area, the U.S. Geological Survey reported. The about 3-mile deep quake hit a little more than a mile from Ontario, about a 40-mile drive east from Los Angeles, at 12:56 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, according to the USGS.

A preliminary 3.0-magnitude earthquake rattled parts of Malibu Saturday afternoon, according to the United States Geological Survey.
