The US car company has issued another critical recall over fears thousands of vehicles could catch fire, posing a huge risk to customers.

Owners of affected vehicles might notice the odor of gasoline both inside and outside the vehicle, according to the manufacturer.

According to Ford, a fuel injector may crack and leak fuel inside the engine compartment, leading to an under-hood fire.
