NHTSA closes probe into more than 1.3 million GM vehicles over seat belt issues
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on Wednesday it has closed an engineering analysis into issues with front seat belt in more than 1.3 million General Motors vehicles. In 2020, NHTSA's Office of Defects Investigation (ODI) had opened an engineering analysis to investigate instances of detachment of the seat belt anchor cable in front seats on GM vehicles.
