Alphabet's Google said on Thursday it had resolved a brief global service disruption on its platforms that affected multiple services such as music streamer Spotify and instant messaging provider Discord.

Google Cloud was identified by a Cloudflare representative as the cause of a massive outage that disrupted services across the internet Thursday. The widespread internet outage affected a variety of popular platforms, with users reporting problems accessing Google services, Cloudflare, Spotify, Twitch, and Discord.

Usage and engagement of Instant Apps have been low, and developers are leveraging other tools for app discovery such as AI-powered app highlights and simultaneous app installs,

ChatGPT is experiencing a massive global outage with users being unable to use the AI chatbot. The outage seems to have started at 2 am ET and is still ongoing, people have spotted error messages pop up when they try to type out a query.
