The final month of meteorological winter looks to be fairly active with several chances of snow and ice from the Ohio Valley to the Northeast. On the southern end of the frontal boundaries, heavy rainfall and thunderstorms will be likely across the Gulf Coast.

Snow will continue to fall Saturday morning following overnight flurries, giving way to a dry and cold rest of the weekend.
