Israeli jets have struck Beirut’s southern suburbs in the third such attack since a ceasefire began in late November.

Lebanon President Joseph Aoun condemned the attack as a violation of the ceasefire, urging the United States and France — key guarantors of the agreement — to pressure Israel to cease its strikes.
