One civilian was killed and another wounded after Russian forces dropped an explosive from a drone on a town in the southern Ukrainian region of Kherson, authorities said on Saturday.

Ukrainian defenders on the Avdiivka front are continuing to hold back the Russians, who are still trying to encircle Avdiivka. Ukrainian soldiers are steadfastly holding the defence and inflicting significant losses on the Russians.
