Russia launched 400 Shahed and decoy drones, as well as one ballistic missile, during the night, the Ukrainian air force said. The strikes targeted northeastern Kharkiv, which is Ukraine’s second-largest city, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s hometown of Kryvyi Rih in central Ukraine, Vinnytsia in the west and Odesa in the south.

A Russian attack against the southern city of Odesa injured at least eight people and damaged residential areas, local authorities reported.

Russian drones struck military recruitment centers in Ukraine Monday, killing one person and wounding over 70 others in Kharkiv. Elsewhere, one person was killed by a Russian strike in Odesa, while in Zaporizhzhia at least 20 people were injured when Russian drones struck a military draft center.
