One person has died in a mass Russian drone attack on Ukraine's Black Sea port of Odesa, which set ablaze a multi-storey apartment building.

Russia once again attacked the city of Odesa on the night of 18-19 July, killing one person. Source: State Emergency Service of Ukraine Details: The State Emergency Service noted that a fire had broken out from the fifth to the eighth floors of a nine-storey residential building as a result of the attack.

Russian forces launched a significant drone assault on Ukraine’s Black Sea port of Odesa, resulting in a fatality and damaging multiple buildings. Emergency crews are currently assessing the situation and addressing the aftermath.

A third night of Russian air attacks pounded Ukraine’s southern cities, including the Black Sea port city of Odesa, and killed at least two people.

The European Union is targeting Russia with more sanctions over its war on Ukraine. The aim is to deprive Moscow of energy revenue through a lower oil price cap and a ban on transactions with Nord Stream gas pipelines.

The Russian missile attack on Odesa on July 23 left people dead and wounded and damaged historic buildings in the heart of the city, including its biggest cathedral.

In Odesa, counterintelligence officers from the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) and the National Police have detained a Russian agent who was planning to bomb the regional Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center (military enlistment office).
