It was the deadliest attack on the Ukrainian capital in almost a year, and came as Moscow has intensified air assaults on the city.

Russia unleashed a massive missile and drone attack on Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities overnight, killing at least 14 people and wounding 55 in the capital in one of the deadliest assaults since the start of the full-scale invasion in February 2022.

Ukrainian officials say three people were killed and 13 were wounded when Russia attacked the country with waves of drones and missiles.
