Former Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft. Former NFL running back LeSean McCoy says he has been told Sanders has been the best player at mini camp.

"I feel like first thing getting in is showing respect to the vets. I'm getting ready to work and show the coaches, have them understand I'm ready to work, actually understand the real me," he said. "I'm truly thankful for the opportunity for people to actually see the real me and not be able to see stuff that could be true or not."

The Cleveland Browns selected former Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders with the 144th overall pick in the fifth round of the NFL draft.
