Ippei Mizuhara, sentenced to a nearly five-year prison term for stealing from Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani, has had his surrender date postponed.

Ippei Mizuhara, the former interpreter for Shoehei Ohtani, will surrender to federal agents on a later date after receiving a postponement, according to the Department of Justice.

Ippei Mizuhara, the former interpreter for Shohei Ohtani, is scheduled to surrender to authorities Monday and begin his federal prison sentence on charges related to stealing nearly $17 million from the Dodgers star baseball player to pay gambling debts.
