BEVERLY, Mass. — One man was killed and another man was injured Thursday when their small plane crashed near the Beverly, Massachusetts, airport, officials confirm.

Emergency responders arrived to find the pilot and the passenger trapped inside the plane’s fuselage, city officials said.

Authorities released the name of a second person who died in a plane crash near a North Shore airport last week.
